The Witching Hour
July 5 @ 19:30 - July 6 @ 22:30
£28.00It was honestly difficult to find information on James Williams, but the man seems to have written and directed three horror plays; one, {The Witching Hour} is set to visit Swansea. There being scant information about the man is quite creepily fitting for someone who creates creepy theatre. The Witching Hour follows on from the success of Williams’ previous plays and The Orphanage, professing to be “the most haunting tale yet”. As its title might suggest, witches and curses abound. Erin studies witchcraft at university, and with brother Sam takes a trip to Thornhill Wood – a seemingly abandoned house in the woods with a witchy history. Honestly, why would you? That’s asking for trouble. The ‘witch’ embedded in this house’s history might have been a victim of misogyny, but equally her curse might be real. The age recommendation for this show is 15+, but anyone with an active imagination might want to leave the light on at home when they get back… Tickets: £28-£33. words CHRIS WILLIAMS
